Car fire in New London
Firefighters extinguished a car fire Friday afternoon near 173 Laurel Drive in New London. City firefighters responded to the scene at 3:56 p.m. The cause of the fire, which severely damaged the car, is under investigation by the fire marshal's office. No injuries were reported.
