Kaitlin Gomes and James Eppinger were married on June 16, 2012, during an outside celebration on their farm in North Stonington. Judge Tom Bishop officiated the ceremony, followed by a family-prepared pig roast and tented reception.

Kaitlin is the daughter of Chris and Leslie Gomes of Pawcatuck, and granddaughter of Art and Julie Armstrong, of North Stonington. James is the son of Frank and Monica Eppinger of North Stonington.

Members of the bridal party were the bride's sisters, Lindsey and Meagan Gomes, Brittany Solar, Ashlee Holland, and the groom's sister Kate Eppinger. Groomsmen were Chris Rompf, Justin Rosenberg, Gregg Turner, and the groom's brother-in-law, John Fox. Junior attendants were Sadie and Finn Fox, niece and nephew of the groom.

Kaitlin is a first grade teacher in the Stonington Public School system. James is a financial analyst for General Dynamics in Pawcatuck. Both are graduates of Stonington High School and Endicott College in Beverly, Mass.
