The Mallett Brothers Band at the Wolf Den
In this age when thumb-drumming a cellphone while driving is now required by law, such things as marketing and self-promotion is a huge part of any endeavor.
Which is why it's cool to note that the Mallett Brothers, a sublime roots music outfit from the woods of Maine, now offer logo'd shot glasses, koozies and keychains to go along with the requisite T-shirts on their web site.
Well, their PR machine is working - along with the music and scalpel-sharp live performances. The last time the Malletts came through, they played a happy hour set in a Norwich bar. Tonight, they'll hit the stage at the Mohegan Sun Wolf Den. Good for them. This is a great band.
