The number of outages that Connecticut Light & Power reported fluctuated Tuesday and for hours included 133 outages in Old Lyme — 2 percent of the town’s customers.
Wires that came down on Sill Lane in Old Lyme at 3 p.m. caused the outages, according to CL&P. That incident also affected residents on Saunders Hollow Road, Matson Ridge, Wolcott Lane and Mill Pond Lane, said Mitch Gross, CL&P spokesman.
CL&P was on site Tuesday afternoon, he said. Power was restored to all 133 customers by evening.
At its peak, CL&P reported that 39,000 were in the dark during the blizzard.
