Diversity great, but qualifications vital

I write in response to, "Hyslop tries shaking up NL panels, boards," (Feb. 11). As one who is all for diversity, through the whole article there was no mention of the most important word - qualified. So, before any members work for New London, whether a homosexual, Hispanic, yellow, purple, or green, let's make sure they are qualified New London.
