The Ryan and Burdick families welcome Abigail Brand Ryan and Ellen Taylor Ryan to their families. The twins were born on April 5, 2011 at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London to Timothy Kevin Ryan and Alison Burdick Ryan of New London. Both girls were born healthy at 6 pounds 7 ounces/6 pounds 14 ounces and 18 inches long.

Abbie and Ellie are the granddaughters of Reid Brand Burdick and Ann Taylor Burdick of New London and Allan and Barbara Ryan of Wading River, N.Y. The twins are the great granddaughters of Mrs. Mary Dikeman of Larchmont, N.Y. and the late Jane Burdick Hickok.
