The former owner of O Brasil! Imports in New London has announced an expanded offering of books on Brazilian culture.

Glenn Alan Cheney, who is now managing editor of a small Hanover-based literary press called the New London Librarium, said his business has received four grants from Brazil’s Fundação da Biblioteca Nacional to support translation of works by Brazilian authors.

“We are very excited to be bringing awareness of Brazil to the American and European publics,” said Cheney, managing editor and author of three books about Brazil.
