Westerly - Spectators watched from the Pawcatuck River Park as a pair of excavators from Cherenzia Excavation demolished what was left of 3-7 Commerce St. across the river in Westerly Tuesday.
The building was damaged in a fire over a week ago leaving 11 residents homeless as well as two popular local businesses.
