Since Sandy Hook seems to be the main focus of these new gun laws it must be asked whether they would have prevented the tragedy? The unequivocal answer is no.

Our uninformed, unknowing, unwilling to learn, elected officials could once again not be further off mark.

All their proposed gun laws do nothing to limit gun access for criminals or punish illegal gun use. There new laws do nothing to deal with the mentally ill accessing guns.

The laws only burden law abiding firearm owners.

This is like limiting car purchases for all after someone is killed from a DUI incident. Instead of punishment for the guilty, it is punishment for the innocent.

Let us all remember during the next election, who should stay and who should go. That is for those of us who will remain in the Communist State of Connecticut.
