Save City of Groton by voting for change

Groton Utilities (GU) is the very reason we have the City of Groton. Without GU our city services would be too expensive to afford and we would face consolidation. The epic failure of Thames Valley Communication (TVC) has changed all that. Democratic elected officials and Democrat-controlled city government lost millions and never said anything. The city now faces the worst disaster in its history since the British landed in 1781.

GU is the goose that lays the golden egg, but those eggs have been taken from us for years to come.

Albert Einstein said "The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing." For years a small group of people lost millions and did nothing until news of the TVC collapse reached the taxpayers. Voting for change in new leadership is vital to avoid future failure. The time has come to take a stand. Change must come and all of us need to roll up our sleeves and pitch in. You must ask "What can I do for the City of Groton?" Vote May 6.
