H.S. lacrosse roundup: East Lyme boys beat Conard 7-2

West Hartford Mitchell Andres had three goals and an assist and Nick Geary added three goals as East Lyme High School beat Conard 7-2 on Saturday.

Adam Opsahl scored for the Vikings (2-0) and goalie Greg Swenson had 10 saves.

In other games:

• Sam Sweitzer had five goals as Old Lyme beat Bunnell, 7-2. Eric Behringer, Devin Byrne and Josh Turkowski scored for Old Lyme and Seth Rohrberg had five saves.

• Ledyard fell to Hall in a nonleague game, 10-9. Kevin Kohlhepp had five goals and two assists and Zack Gatewood (three assists) and Nick LoBianco (two assists) each scored twice for Ledyard (1-1).

• Jack Fader had four goals and two assists as Williams edged Chase Collegiate, 8-7. Charles Maynard had four goals for Williams and Chris Collins had 17 saves.


• Amanda Kumpitsch had three goals as Waterford beat Woodstock Academy, 15-9. Julie Chabot, Sarah Coiro, Jacey Miller and Mckenzie Potter all scored twice for Waterford (2-0).

• Molly Beck had five goals as Old Saybrook beat Fitch, 11-9. Krystal Czapek had three goals for the Falcons (1-1) and Sarah Giblin and Chloe Taylor each scored twice. Also, Michelina Pinto had three assists.

• Zoe Moffett had three goals and four assists as Williams beat Watkinson, 16-14. Lili Goldberg had five goals and an assist for Williams while Maddie Lahm added three goals and an assist.

• Katherine Nuzzlo had five goals and an assist as Glastonbury beat East Lyme, 13-6.

Lindsay Schneider had two goals for the Vikings (0-1) and Kiki Ryan added a goal and an assist.
