New York firm moving to state

The state's business booster Connecticut Innovations announced Monday that medical device company ZetrOZ LLC is moving to Trumbull as part of a $1.3 million agency investment in the company.

The quasi-public agency said ZetrOZ will be launching a new pain management system with the help of $2.6 million in Series A funding that includes investments from Standard Oil Ventures and individuals.

ZetrOZ is now located in Ithaca, N.Y.

The company's wearable ZTX system delivers hours of ultrasound treatment on a single battery charge and will be the smallest such commercial device in the world.
