North Haven Historical Society (NHHS) volunteer Walter Brocket explains the finer points of a carpenter's moulding plane to visitors at the Martha Culver Birthday Celebration at the Martha Culver House on July 28. Docents offered guests a look at centuries of North Haven history. NHHS has several upcoming programs, including Remembering the Martha Culver Library on Sunday, Aug. 18, North Haven Trolley Tours on Sunday, Oct. 6, and the Northeast Paranormal Investigations Program on Sunday, Oct. 27.
