Groton – Several people were taken by ambulance to the hospital for precautionary measures Monday afternoon following an accident involving a school bus and another vehicle, Town Police said.

Police did not immediately provide any further details of the accident, which was first reported at 3:56 p.m. at the intersection of Long Hill Road and Winthrop Drive.
