Shed stolen from Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Waterford

Waterford - In August, police said thieves had targeted motorcycles and ATVs stored in backyard sheds.

This week, however, thieves stole an actual shed.

Someone pilfered a small outdoor shed from the outside of Habitat for Humanity's ReStore business, located adjacent to the intersection of Route 1 and Willetts Avenue, police said.

The shed, being used for storage by the business, was stolen sometime in the overnight hours of Oct. 1 or morning of Oct. 2.

Police are now looking for help in finding the shed and suspect that because of its size, it will not be too hard to locate if it was placed on a property in the area in the last day or two.

The dimensions of the shed were not immediately available, but police have posted a photo on their Facebook website.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Waterford Police Department at (860) 442-9451 and ask for Officer O'Connell.
