New London police investigate early morning robbery

New London – Police are investigating a robbery reported early Monday morning in which the victim was assaulted.

Police said the male victim was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money in a common hallway at 848 Bank St. and sustained a minor head injury during the incident.

Deputy Chief Peter Reichard said detectives are actively working the case and have located a vehicle that may have been used by perpetrators.
