UPDATED: Norwich road reopens after motorcycle crash
Norwich — A portion of Washington Street has reopened after it was closed for more than two hours as police investigated a car versus motorcycle accident.
Police said the motorcycle driver was taken to the William W. Backus Hospital. No information on the driver’s injuries was available.
The driver of the car was not injured, police said. The accident was reported at about 6:30 a.m. in the area of 253 Washington St. The road reopened at 9:05 a.m.
