Police search for suspect in armed robbery at East Lyme gas station

East Lyme — State and local police were still searching late Friday for a suspect in what was reported as an armed robbery at a gas station off Route 161.

Police responded to the area of 262 Flanders Road, the location of the Niantic Mobil, shortly after 4 p.m.

State police had not released details about the incident as of late Friday.
