A 36-year-old East Lyme woman was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for charges related to an alleged June 2012 incident involving a 14-year-old minor.

Laurel A. Rand of 11 Mountain View Road was charged by state police from the Troop F barracks for risk of injury to a minor and fourth-degree sexual assault, according to police records.

She was released Tuesday on a $1,500 bond, police said.

Rand is awaiting a plea hearing and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 26, according to the state judicial website.
