Josh Groban and Tanglewood Trip - August 30, 2014
Join the Madison Beach and Recreation Department as we enjoy the music of Josh Groban from our reserved shed seats at Tanglewood. Josh will be joining the Boston Pops, Keith Lockhart, and the Festival Chorus, for a spectacular close to the summer 2014 season. Concert begins at 7:00 pm. Josh is a singer, songwriter, musician, actor and record producer. By the age of 23 he was charted as the number one best-selling artist in the U.S. with over 21 million records in the nation. Now almost 10 years later that number has risen to over 25 million worldwide. Best known for his hits “You Raise Me Up”, “February Song”, “Bells of New York City” and “I Believe (when I fall in love it will be forever)”, just to name a few. Prior to arriving at Tanglewood, an early dinner is served at Storrowtown Tavern in West Springfield. Our dinner buffet consists of salad, broiled scrod, chicken francaise, Yankee pot roast, roasted red bliss potato, butternut squash, dessert, coffee, tea, or decaf. We depart from the route 79 Commuter Lot at 12:30 pm and return approximately 11:45 pm. Cost per person is $150 and includes the show, transportation, lunch and driver gratuity.
