In reference to The Day's article, "Haberek wants increase in expense account" (Jan. 23), it's time the "Glee" club stopped crying over spilt milk and got to work. If the Board of Finance doesn't want to give First Selectman Ed Haberek an increase in his expense account, then don't do it. It's that simple. The board has been trying to make Haberek look bad for quite some time, ever since the election, actually. It seems that its members have an agenda to make him look bad.
Well, guess what, he won the election and if he runs again, he'll win again. Stop whining and get to work. Haberek has proposed a fantastic budget. Get to work on it. Give the man an increase and stop whining about the use of the car. I'm tired of hearing about it and I'm sure many others are too.
