Ledyard-Woodstock boys’ basketball game to be livestreamed on theday.com

Ledyard High School and Woodstock Academy play in a key Eastern Connecticut Conference Large Division boys' basketball game tonight at Standish Gym.

Theday.com will livestream the game beginning at 7:15 p.m. with a pregame show.

The Colonels (10-2, 4-0) are unbeaten in the division, while Woodstock (11-2, 4-1) has one loss - which came to Ledyard last month.

The Centaurs are the state's defending Class L champions, led by guard Chris Lowry. Woodstock is the third-ranked team in Class L.

Ledyard, which has been to at least the state quarterfinals the last three seasons, has won eight straight since a loss to Glastonbury in late December. Ledyard will compete in the state Class LL tournament in March.

Future games on theday.com this season include New London at NFA (Feb. 14), Hartford Public at Ledyard (Feb. 15), the ECC girls' basketball tournament final (Feb. 28), the ECC boys' basketball tournament semifinals (March 5) and the championship game (March 7).
