UPDATED: One injured in accident on Route 85 in Montville

Montville – At least one person was taken to the hospital following a multi-vehicle crash today on Route 85 in Montville.

First responders were called out to the area of 1796 Route 85 shortly before 4 p.m. for reports of an accident involving three vehicles.

The Chesterfield and Oakdale fire departments were dispatched to the scene along with police and medics from the Mohegan Tribal department.

Route 85 was temporarily shut down following the accident.
