Murphy's glass house? Senator not buying from exchanges
I read, "Some Democrats try straddle on health law," in the Feb. 9 Day, noting that Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn, is tapped to lead an effort inside the Senate to respond publicly to Republican attacks on Obamacare.
Just one question: What health care do you have?
Make it public before you go after the GOP.
Editor's note: Sen. Murphy and members of his staff (who are not otherwise insured) get their health insurance through the D.C. Exchange, the health insurance exchange in the Washington area.
The exchange purchases for Congress and staff are required by the provisions of the Affordable Care Act.
