Stonington - The town's 2013 grand list has grown a healthy $8.3 million, according to a report that Tax Assessor Marsha Standish made to the Board of Finance Wednesday.

The list, which is the total of all taxable property in town, now stands at $2,602,877,040, a 0.32 percent increase over the 2012 list.

The value of real estate increased $8,559,361, to $2,375,335,591 because of variety smaller projects, home building and remodeling, according to Standish. No large commercial or residential projects were added to the list in 2013.

Motor vehicles increased $4.5 million, to $133.8 million, while personal property such as business equipment decreased $4.8 million, to $93.7 million.

The finance board received the grand list report as it begins its review of the proposed 2014-15 budget.

The list of the town's 10 largest taxpayers remained mostly unchanged. Their assessments are as follows:

1. Connecticut Light & Power, $30.1 million

2. LCS-Westminster Partnership I LLC (Stone Ridge), $29.2 million

3. Aquarion Water Co., $15.7 million

4. Mashantucket Pequot Tribe, $10.4 million

5. VIII-HII-Whitehall Mansion Avenue LLC (Residence Inn), $10.3 million

6. Mall Inc. (Olde Mistick Village) $9.8 million

7. RJH II-HH Mystic LLC (Mystic Hilton), $9 million

8. Davis Standard LLC, $8.3 million

9. SMV Mystic LLC (Pendleton Health and Rehabilitation), $7.6 million

10. Yankee Gas Services, $6.9 million
