Lisbon – A woman was arrested early Sunday morning after state police say she broke into a Lisbon home and assaulted a 23-year-old pregnant woman while the woman’s 2-year-old son was present.
Michelle Mosca, 42, of 2 River Road, Lisbon, was charged with home invasion, assault of an elderly, blind, disabled or pregnant person, witness intimidation, risk of injury to a minor, disorderly conduct and second-degree threatening. She was held in lieu of a $50,000 bond and was slated to appear Monday in Norwich Superior Court.
Police said Mosca entered the home to confront the woman and her boyfriend in a "retaliatory fashion" after her two sons had been arrested in connection with an incident an hour earlier in which the boyfriend was assaulted.
