    Moscow Festival Ballet dances "Sleeping Beauty"

    Dancing a classic: The Moscow Festival Ballet will perform "The Sleeping Beauty" Friday at the Garde Arts Center.

    From whence they came: The Moscow Festival Ballet is marking its 25th year. It was founded in 1989 by Sergei Radchenko, who had been a renowned principal dancer with the Bolshoi Ballet.

    On with the show: This "Sleeping Beauty" features Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky music and Marius Petipa choreography. In fact, this was the first of Petipa's classics that were performed in western Europe.
