Three injured in altercation outside Plainfield bar

Plainfield — Two people were stabbed and a third injured in an altercation in the parking lot of the Music Lady Cafe early Saturday, police said.

Police responded to the Plainfield Emergency Care Center at 1 a.m. Saturday for a report of a stabbing victim. Police said 22-year-old Shawn J. Thomas of Plainfield, was involved in the altercation outside the bar, located at 6 Green Hollow Road. Thomas was treated and later released. A second stabbing victim, James Maynard, 23, also of Plainfield, was taken to Hartford Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, police said.

A third victim, Jarrad Norgren, 23, came to the Plainfield Police Department at 10 a.m. with injuries that were not deemed life-threatening, police said.
