UPDATED: Stonington police arrest man in armed robbery

Stonington — Police on Sunday arrested a Westerly man who allegedly pointed a silver handgun at a 20-year-old man and then robbed him of his skateboard in Pawcatuck.

Timothy S. O’Reilly, 24, of 30 Spring St., was charged with third-degree robbery and sixth-degree larceny.

The armed robbery occurred at 4:30 p.m. Sunday on Morgan Street. Police put out a bulletin looking for a 2006 tan Toyota with Rhode Island license plates carrying two men and a pit bull. Police said no one was injured in the incident.
