Already registered? Stonington shellfishing areas closed due to rain
Stonington — The Shellfish Commission has closed two conditional shellfishing areas due to the rain.
Areas A and Outer Quiambaug Cove are currently closed and will remain closed to the harvesting of clams, oysters and mussels until further notice.
Additionally, conditional Shellfishing Area B will be closed May 1 through Nov. 1 due to the boating season.
