Norwich police interrupt attempted burglary

Norwich – A Groton man was arrested following a foot chase after he allegedly attempted to burglarize an occupied home on Weber Farm Road Thursday evening, Norwich police said.

Isaiah L. Prue, 25, of 20 Cutler St., Groton, was charged with attempted second-degree burglary and interfering with an officer. He was held in lieu of a $10,000 cash bond and was presented Friday in Norwich Superior Court.

Police said they received a call about a suspicious male in the rear of a home on Weber Farm Road. Several officers responded and apprehended Prue after a pursuit on foot.
