    'Old Ironsides' offers D-Day salute

The USS Constitution, or "Old Ironsides," the U.S. Navy's oldest commissioned ship, fires a 17-gun volley in front of Coast Guard Station Boston as the ship is towed back to its berth at the Charlestown Navy Yard Friday in Boston. The Constitution was towed to Castle Island and back in honor of the 70th anniversary of D-Day. The steeple of The Old North Church is visible behind the ship at center.
