Live Lunch Break: The Rivergods

Do you feel sad because you didn't see "Live Lunch Break" on Thursday in New London's Hygienic Art Park? It was the first outdoor Break of the summer, and the revamped Rivergods put on a tremendous 10-song show. Captain's Pizza was on hand, and a big crowd scarfed pie and enjoyed the music.

Here are fun things to look for:

  • Meet new band members Craig Johnson, Dana Takaki, Bill Groth and Chris DeBiasi - joining founding mainstays Nancy and Ben Parent.
  • Nancy Parent's song "Widow" is in the key of B - which is the same key as the Amtrak train horn that wails in mid-tune.

Look carefully. See? It didn't rain!

Set List:

  • Daddy
  • T.D.W.
  • It's Up to You
  • Widow
  • Anchor's Weight
  • (Interview)
  • Signs
  • I Don't Think About You (Much) Anymore
  • Lost on You
  • Vision of Angels
  • Never Grow Old
