Norwich woman faces heroin charges
Norwich — A 30-year-old city woman was charged Friday with the sale and possession of heroin after police said she was found with 100 bags of the drug and more than $6,400 in cash.
Katherine Sanborn, of 527 West Thames St., No. 52, was arrested following a joint operation by the Norwich Police Department and the Statewide Narcotics Taskforce's eastern office, according to a release on the Norwich department's Facebook page.
Sanborn's charges also included possession of heroin within 1,500 feet of a school. She was held pending the posting of a $150,000 bond.
