Mystic man arrested twice within seven hours
Stonington — Police arrested a Mystic man twice within seven hours this weekend after they say he went to his ex-girlfriend’s home on Mayflower Avenue in Pawcatuck and caused disturbances.
Andrew Kawabata, 21, of 152 Long Wharf Road, Mystic, was first charged at 7:58 p.m. Saturday with breach of peace and interfering with a police officer. After he was processed, he was released on bond and warned by police not to return to the house.
At 2:51 a.m. this morning, police were again called to the house and found Kawabata causing another disturbance. He was charged with first-degree criminal trespass, breach of peace and interfering with a police officer. He is being held by police this afternoon and is slated to appear in New London Superior Court on Monday.
