UPDATED: Accident scene cleared in East Lyme

East Lyme – A two-car motor vehicle accident on Tuesday temporarily closed the left lane of Interstate 95 North between exits 71 and 72.

The accident was reported shortly after 3 p.m. and cleared by 3:45 p.m., according to The state Department of Transportation.
