Redevelopment plan for Seaside stinks
I have a few questions about the development proposal of the Seaside property in Waterford.
Are we stupid?
How many times will our officials fall for the developer's bait and switch tactics?
Since the original development criteria needed to include plans to save the historical buildings, and now that it is proposed that the buildings be razed, doesn't that put us back to square one for the usage of the land?
Is "preferred developer" a lifetime title?
Why is the state beholden to a developer who can't finance his own house?
Could I buy ocean front property from the state while my house is facing foreclosure?
Why are our local officials falling all over themselves to commercialize southern Waterford?
Does anyone else feel that this whole enterprise smells bad?
