Norwich man arrested on sexual assault charges

Editor's note: Court documents show the state dismissed all of Brian Reynolds' charges on Feb. 2, 2016. He was not convicted of any crime.

Norwich – A 45-year-old city man was arrested on several sexual assault charges involving a juvenile female Friday following a two-month investigation into a complaint from the state Department of Children and Families, Norwich police said.

Brian Reynolds of 5 Kilmer Ave. was charged at 8:05 a.m. Friday with two counts of first-degree sexual assault, two counts of fourth-degree sexual assault and two counts of risk of injury to a minor/sexual contact. He was held on $100,000 bond and was arraigned in Norwich Superior Court Friday, police said.
Norwich police detectives conducted the investigation and arrested Reynolds on a warrant. No further information was available Saturday.
