Sun acquire Little, Stricklen in trade for Montgomery
The Connecticut Sun acquired Camille Little and Shekinna Stricklen from the Seattle Storm on Wednesday for Renee Montgomery and the No. 3 and 15 overall picks in the 2015 WNBA Draft.
Little, a 6-foot-2 forward, has averaged 9.6 points and 4.9 rebounds in eight seasons. She started 202 of a possible 204 games for the Storm since 2009, including the 2010 WNBA championship team.
Stricklen is a 6-foot-2 guard/forward who was the second overall in the 2012 WNBA Draft. She has averaged 8.4 points in three seasons with Seattle.
Montgomery played five seasons for the Sun and averaged 11.4 points per game.
Connecticut still owns the fourth overall pick in this year’s draft.
