An elitist mentality in Congress, White House

What FBI Director James Comey did was a slap in the face to those that served or are serving in the military. As a retired officer with 24 years of service, I would have lost all rank, served time in prison and been dishonorably discharged had I been “extremely careless” in handling classified (including Top Secret) material. I wonder how many are serving time right now for the same charges. He took a supposedly non-political position and made it extremely political. There is definitely an elitist mentality in D.C. today and it is maintained by every member of Congress and the Executive Branch. I don’t care what your political beliefs are. The question is how much longer will we be subjected to this malarkey before we take our country back?

All this time off for employees hurts small businesses, eliminates good jobs

Connecticut recently passed a law guaranteeing paid family and medical leave for up to 12 weeks at full pay. Someone needs to explain why every employee who gets a paycheck will pay an additional tax for this benefit whether they use it or not, except for government or municipal employees who...
