Mashantucket — Tribal police on Wednesday said no foul play is suspected in the death of a man whose body was discovered early Tuesday morning after he apparently fell from Grand Pequot Tower.

Police said they aren’t sure exactly when the man fell. A Foxwoods Resort Casino maintenance worker discovered his body early Tuesday in an area that’s not open to the public.

Police said the medical examiner’s office is working to determine the man’s identity.

"The safety of our guests and Team Members is our number one priority," Foxwoods spokeswoman Ashley Polo said in an emailed statement. "All safety railings on hotel room balconies exceed the required building code height. We are deeply saddened to learn of this unfortunate tragedy and our thoughts are with the family and friends at this difficult time."
