Mystic VFW to host Veterans Day service at WWI monument

Mystic — The Hugo A Simonelli Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3263 will host its annual Veterans Day service at 11 a.m. Saturday at the World War I Monument on Baptist Hill in Mystic. It will be held at the post home in the event of inclement weather.

The Auxiliary will also conduct its annual Veteran Votive Candle Service on Saturday at 5 p.m. All are invited to attend.

The post's monthly meeting will be held earlier Saturday at 9 a.m. All members in good standing are encouraged to attend. The post's Auxiliary Member meeting is Nov. 13 at 6 p.m.
