Machinist's Mate (Weapons) 'A' School Graduation

Groton — "Class 18020" graduated from Machinist's Mate (Weapons) "A" School on Friday.

Fireman Nathan Miller received the Torpedoman Plaque as class honorman.

Machinist's Mate (Weapons) "A" School is a 10-week enlisted apprentice training school providing basic knowledge and skills at the entry level in the MM (Submarines) rating in Shipboard 3-M, Mechanical Skills, Three-Inch Launcher operation, Explosives, Torpedo Tubes and MK 48 ADCAP torpedoes and Tomahawk cruise missiles.
