A state legislative committee has rescheduled Tuesday’s public hearing on gambling-related bills to 10 a.m. Thursday in Room 2B of the Legislative Office Building in Hartford.
The Public Safety and Security Committee will take testimony on about a half-dozen bills, including one that would establish a process for requesting casino proposals and repeal the Mashantucket Pequot and Mohegan tribes’ authority to develop an East Windsor casino.
Another measure calls for the first comprehensive study of gambling in Connecticut in nearly a decade.
