Head-on collision sends two to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

Norwich — Two people were taken to The William W. Backus Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening following a head-on collision Thursday afternoon, Norwich Police Lt. John Perry said.

The crash occurred in the area of Smith and Pukallas avenues and was reported at 3:21 p.m., Perry said. There were no passengers in either car.

The cause of the collision was still under investigation.
