John Mulaney brings "Kid Gorgeous" show to Foxwoods Friday

Let me guess: earlier this year, when comic John Mulaney played Radio City Music Hall, you couldn't get tickets. Well, don't feel bad. Mulaney quickly sold out SEVEN consecutive shows at the renowned venue, which is unprecedented and indicates his high-tide popularity at this point in his career.

The good news? Mulaney — an Emmy-winning writer for "Saturday Night Live" who's famous for creating, along with Bill Hader, the popular "Stefon" character — filmed the Radio City shows. A special of those gigs, called "John Mulaney: Kid Gorgeous at Radio City," debuts on Netflix May 1. It's the first of several specials Mulaney's signed to do for the network.

And even better news? Mulaney brings his act Friday to the Grand Theater in Foxwoods for sets at 8 and 11 p.m. Note: Mulaney had to reschedule an April 6 Foxwoods performance; if you had tickets for that event, they will be honored at the 11 p.m. show.

    John Mulaney, 8 and 11 p.m. Friday, Grand Theater, Foxwoods; $40, $55; 1-800-200-2882.
