Two-car crash closes lane of I-95 in Groton

Groton — A two-car crash has closed the right lane of Interstate 95 north, the state Department of Transportation said in a Thursday alert.

DOT officials said the crash happened between exits 87 and 88 around 2:30 p.m.

At 3 p.m., a DOT camera showed minimal traffic congestion in the area. By 3:30 p.m., the wreck had cleared.
