'Popular Vote' will steal your vote

Our state legislators and governor are in the process of stealing the voting rights of every Connecticut citizen by joining the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPVIC). This is a coalition of 11 states and District of Columbia which will disregard their citizens' choice during a presidential election and award their Electoral College votes to whomever wins the national popular vote. The Electoral College system was designed to prevent a few large states from controlling the political system. The fact that NPVIC is based in California should raise a red flag. If you add the list of member states, an agenda becomes clear. Large blue states are attempting to circumvent our election system to control who becomes president in this country. Connecticut's lame duck governor's signature will effectively make every resident's presidential election vote null and void. Governor Malloy, whose dreams of a national office were dashed in the last election, will most assuredly sign this bill as soon as it is placed on his desk.
