Lock dog owner in a hot car

Hats off to the New London police officer who broke the vehicle window and rescued the poor helpless dog, “Man charged with leaving dog in hot car in New London,” (July 3).

Here’s praying this dude doesn’t ever get his dog back, and the dog goes to someone who has common sense enough not to leave an animal in a hot vehicle, especially with all the windows rolled up. A death trap for sure.

I agree 100 percent with all the comments, especially the one about: locking the dude up who did this in a hot car all day, with no means of escaping.

Animals ask so little from humans, yet give so much love in return. You’ll never beat the purest love in all the universe that a dog gives. I know that kind of love, and I’m so blessed!
