Bill and Donna Grillo were married in Connecticut on Aug. 26, 1967.

Residents of Salem since 1973, Bill retired early from Millstone after 30 years of service and Donna was the receptionist at Tangles Hair Salon in Norwich for 26 years.

Together they enjoy spending time with their family. They have two children, Christina and Bill Jr.; a son-in-law, Billy; and a grandson, Brighton William.

Bill Sr. also enjoys golf and won the Super Senior Club Championship at Black Birch last year — the day of their 50th wedding anniversary!

They celebrated their golden anniversary last summer with a special dinner at Water’s Edge given by their family followed by a sunset cruise.

Today they celebrate 51 years! Congratulations, mom and dad — also known as nana and pops — on reaching this amazing milestone.
